Nikola Jokic voted best center, passer by NBA general managers

Reigning two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic received recognition on this year’s survey of the league’s general managers. The Serbian center topped two categories.

He received by far the most votes as the best center (79%), while second-placed Joel Embiid got 17% and Giannis Antetokounmpo finished third with 3%.

Despite being a big man, Jokic was also voted the best passer in the NBA with 72% of votes. Luka Doncic and Chris Paul were tied for the second place with 10% each.

The GMs also recognized Jokic’s basketball IQ as he came second with 24%, behind LeBron James who received 45% of votes.

The Nuggets superstar is not expected to win his third straight MVP award this season. He was among the top four vote receivers (Doncic – 48%, Antetokounmpo – 34%, Embiid – 14%, Steph Curry – 3%).
