While his future with the Lakers remains somewhat uncertain, Russell Westbrook appears to have all the support from the head coach Darvin Ham.
Once again he complimented the former NBA MVP, praising his effort in training camp. “He’s ours. We love him. And we want him to do well. … It’s been a great camp for him,” Ham said about Westbrook ahead of the team’s first preseason game against the Kings, per Jovan Buha.
Westbrook scored 5 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 3 assists in 14 minutes of play in the loss against Sacramento.
