The Lakers have started their training camp earlier this week, but they are still missing one player. Dennis Schroder, who signed with the team as a free agent in September, was given additional rest time after EuroBasket 2022.
He helped Germany return podium for the first time in 17 years by winning Bronze in front of the home crowd in Berlin. The 29-year-old point guard was a key contributor for the national team.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Schroder is expected to join the Lakers training camp midweek. Therefore, he will miss the team’s first preseason game against the Kings on Monday.
