Point guard Ish Smith has played for twelve different NBA teams so far. His thirteenth career stop is the Nuggets. The 34-year-old veteran will team up with Nikola Jokic in Denver.
He talked about what it is like to be teammates with the the reigning two-time league MVP, saying that he is glad to be on his side.
“The perception is that he’s a two-time MVP and he’s a bad boy and so I’m glad I’m on his side,” Smith said about Jokic, per Katy Winge. “How he sees the game as a big guy is pretty special.”
Last season Smith averaged 6.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 65 games that he split between the Hornets and Wizards.
