Nikola Vucevic not concerned on offseason’s trade rumors: ‘I didn’t pay attention to it much’

Apparently, Nikola Vucevic just shook off the trade rumors involving him like dust.

Though he was murmured to be packaged for Rudy Gobert, the big man has nothing to be worried about and remains faithful to the plans of the Chicago Bulls brass.

“I was on Zillow every day … Salt Lake … nah, I’m kidding,” Vucevic jokingly told Joe Cowley of Chicago Sun-Times. “Honestly, I didn’t pay attention to it much. By speaking to AK [executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas] here and [Coach] Billy Donovan, I knew their plan and what they were thinking.”

Eventually, Vucevic remained in Chicago, wherein the Minnesota Timberwolves acquired the French center by sending a gigantic return to the Utah Jazz – which trembled the entire NBA and its marketplace.

“People asked me about it all the time and it was on my Twitter all the time. So when Gobert got traded to Minnesota I thought it would be a good time to have a little joke.”

Vucevic is slated to enter his third year wearing the Bulls uniform and is expected to provide much offensive spark as a sweet shooting big man, with the franchise hoping to get deeper next postseason.
