Derrick Rose on what’s most important for Knicks this season

It will be his 14th season in the NBA for Derrick Rose. The former league MVP returns to the Knicks for the third straight year.

When talking about the coming season the 33-year-old point guard emphasised accountability that must be applied to every single played on the roster, including stars.

“I think what this year’s all about is accountability. Being able to not get in your feelings…when somebody’s coming over and giving you constructive criticism…If the last guy can’t tell the star you missed a coverage, something wrong; and it’s vice versa,” Rose said, per New York Basketball on Twitter.

Last season Rose averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists in 24.5 minutes over 26 games for New York.
