Marvin Bagley III is delighted to be back on the side of the rising Detroit Pistons.
“It was a blessing, I was excited,” Bagley said about his extension. “My journey so far has been different form a lot of people, so I was taking it all in when it happened. It was a big moment for us.”
Bagley, who had a lopsided stint as the former lottery pick of the Sacramento Kings, found a new home in the Motor City in the last basketball campaign.
To show his love and willingness to remain as part of the club’s rising core, he inked a $37.5MM contract to remain repping the bright blue and red colors of the franchise.
“For me personally, this is the best group of teammates I’ve ever had.”
“Winning is the most important thing,” Bagley when asked about his goals this upcoming season. “At the end of the day it’s putting Ws in the winning column. That’s all I’m focused on.”
