Paul Pierce thinks Ime Udoka’s suspension is unfair

Most recently Celtics head coach Ime Udoka was in the headlines for his alleged intimate relationship with the team’s staffer. It culminated with Boston suspending the first-year head coach for the whole 2022-2023 season.

Former Celtics star, who helped the team win a championship in 2008, thinks that Udoka should have been fined instead of getting suspended.

“It should just be a fine not a suspension,” Pierce tweeted, explaining in a following tweet that he is “speaking on the Celtics situation.”

It has been reported that the Celtics are unlikely to retain Udoka after his suspension.
