It is less than a month until the start of the NBA season, but Dwight Howard is still without a contract. The 36-year-old center is reportedly drawing interest from the Celtics. However, no deal has been reached.

Howard, who won his sole championship with the Lakers in 2020, said previously that he loves WWE. He has the backing of an influential WWE personality – Triple H.

The wrestler says that he will do what’s necessary to have the former number one draft pick enter the world of wrestling if he is willing to do the work.

Via Ryan Morik of Fox News:

“When he says, ‘Hey, I want to give this a shot,’ he’s got my phone number. All he’s got to do is call me, and we’ll see what can happen,” he told Sporting News. “If he’s willing to put in the grind and drive that guys like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny and Tyson Fury are willing to put in, then let’s go.”

Last season Howard averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game for the 76ers.
