As trade buzzes are swirling around his name with the Phoenix Suns, Jae Crowder has no second thoughts of a probable reunion with the Miami Heat.

Sources told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that Crowder “would welcome” a return to South Beach in midst of being included on trade bubbles this whole offseason.

It was already relayed by Brian Windhorst of ESPN that Crowder is already in the trade market while the Suns are actively pursuing to locate a potential partner for a deal around him. Crowder will hit the 2022-23 campaign as the final year of the contract he signed with the Suns last 2020 offseason.

Crowder has recorded an average of 9.4 points and 5.3 boards in 33.8 percent from three-point land last season for Phoenix, but he became even more inefficient and just recorded 30.2 percent shooting marks in the postseason.

Given that gigantic 3-and-D wingman hole upon the departure of P.J. Tucker, Miami is a solid destination to possibly land Crowder. They hold familiarity with each other after their fruitful second half collaboration of the 2019-2020 season in which they made it to the Finals stage in the league bubble.

As such, it remains yet to be seen if Pat Riley and the Heat will make a move to acquire Crowder. With limited assets to their side to reach the demands of the Suns, it may even be tough to match the forward’s salary alone.
