France marched all the way to the final of this year’s EuroBasket, but eventually lost to Spain (76-88). Afterwards Rudy Gobert took to Twitter to congratulate his opponents and sum up the tournament.
“Congrats to Spain for their well deserved victory. Proud of our team and tenacity we showed all tournament, tonight wasn’t our night but it will come. I will be better. 🙏🏽🇫🇷💪🏽” Gobert tweeted.
Gobert had 6 points and 6 rebounds in 27 minutes of play for France.
