Knicks’ Tom Thibodeau may be leaving New York

In his first year as a Knicks ally, Tom Thibodeau managed to bring the New York Knicks back to the playoffs. The Knicks had not qualified for the NBA playoffs since the 2013/14 season.

Last year, however, the Knicks with Thibodeau experienced a disappointing season without entering the playoffs.

Thibodeau’s third season with the Knicks could be instrumental for the manager.

HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto recently had writer Stefon Bondy beat the Knicks on the HoopsHype podcast to talk about the team’s off-season and what the future holds for New York.

“I think the bottom line should be an improvement over last season … If they are fighting like they did last season, I think Tom Thibodeau is in trouble,” said Bondy. “He is always the coach who is the first to go.”

While we believe Tom Thibodeau does not deserve this fate, if the Knicks are to play another disappointing season then the manager could say goodbye to New York.
