After nearly 40 years, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pat Riley, James Worthy, and the gang have relived the glory days of their Showtime legacy with the Los Angeles Lakers in Maui, Hawaii.

Johnson, the driving force and the show master of the club’s golden era, has posted pictures of their reunion celebration with some other notable Lakers in Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, and A.C. Green.

Not only that, it appears that the legendary squad even revived their feisty, yet special practice sessions which stemmed their unbreakable bond and championship identities.

Together with their staunch rival in Boston Celtics being bannered by Larry Bird, the Showtime Lakers helped the NBA to reach the worldwide prominence and marketability in the 80s decade.

The iconic squad was a basketball giant and a daily spectacular roadshow with their exciting fast-paced game and modern style of play, establishing a dynasty that features five NBA titles, nine Finals appearances, and a godly winning percentage of 72.4 percent (712 wins and 272 losses in 984 regular season games) from 1979 to 1991.
