For the first time in history, Serbia lost to Italy at EuroBasket. After the solid win, Italy guard Marco Spissu talked to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport:
“I didn’t sleep after the match against Serbia. Too much adrenaline. I still can’t believe it. We celebrated with Pozzecco’s credit card, but we went light. Now there is France, we want to continue dreaming. We want to take a good revenge after the Olympic Games. We believe in it,” Spissu said.
