Former NBA champion Matt Barnes was asked to give his prediction for the 2023 NBA Finals. He expects the two teams that won championships in the last couple of years to fight for the title.
In total Barnes named four teams that he thinks will top the Eastern and Western Conferences. His picks for the East are the Nets and the Bucks. As for the West, Barnes went with the Warriors and the Clippers.
When it comes to the Finals, he predicts Milwaukee and Golden State to meet with the latter defending the title and winning a second championship in a row.

“You are going to put me on the spot. I think in the Western Conference it’s going to be between Golden State and the Clippers. And in the Eastern Conference, I love Brooklyn if they can get their sh*t together, but I don’t know if they can. So I’m going to say its going to be a rematch between a healthy Milwaukee and hopefully a healthy Boston. I got Milwaukee against Golden State, and I got Golden State getting one more championship.”
