OFFICIAL: Mavs inked Maxi Kleber to three-year extension

The Dallas Mavericks have officially signed Maxi Kleber to a three-year contract extension, the team announced on Thursday.

He was set to enter a contract year this 2022-2023 season, but with the effect of the recent deal, he’ll be paid until the end of the 2025-2026 campaign.

Kleber is coming off a great season with the Mavs, as he posted numbers of 7.0 points and 5.9 boards in 39.8 percent accuracy for 59 games. With that reliable shooting and defensive versatility off the bench, eventually helped the club to reach the conference finals for the first time since 2011.

The German big man has been in Dallas since the start of his NBA career in 2017-2018 season.
