This offseason Christian Wood was traded to the Mavericks by the Rockets. The 26-year-old center is looking forward to make a deep postseason run after two tough years in Houston.
Individually, he wants to become an All-Star – something that his former teammate Derrick Rose told him he would achieve in three years.
“When I was with @drose in Detroit he came up to me and told me ima be an all star in 3 years .. it’s the 3rd year since then 👀 ima prove him right . #motivation,” Wood tweeted.
This past season Wood averaged 17.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 30.8 minutes per game for the Rockets.
