Armoni Brooks, Kelan Martin among hopeful players to workout for Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to pile up supporting units heading to the training camp.

As told Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, the Cavs are conducting workouts among several free-agents in the likes of Armoni Brooks, Kelan Martin, and Mamadi Diakite.

“The Cleveland Cavaliers are bringing in several free agents for workouts this week, including Armoni Brooks, Kelan Martin and Mamadi Diakite, sources tell cleveland.com.

“The Cavaliers — and other NBA teams — can to bring up to 20 players to training camp, which will begin at the end of this month. This week’s workouts allow team executives to get a closer look at potential camp invites.

“Sources say the first workout took place on Tuesday, with the second one scheduled for Wednesday.”

With the league’s training camp looming in late September, the club will certainly look for more solid pieces for a potential splendid 2022-2023 campaign.

Following the acquisition of Donovan Mitchell trade, Cleveland is projected to have another season of emergence.
