Bucks exploring sign-and-trade deals for Jordan Nwora

The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly looking to move Jordan Nwora and gain an ideal return.

As provided by Jake Weinbach of HoopsHabit, the Bucks are exploring sign-and-trade deals for Nwora, who remains as a restricted free-agent.

Weinbach added that while the club holds a regard in retaining Nwora, they are still also looking to add solid pieces to fortify their title-ready roster.

The Bucks are currently loaded with guards while possessing enough scoring power with their star trio Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday leading in. By shipping Nwora out, it can help them patch up their remaining holes in return.

Nwora, 23, was chosen by Milwaukee for the 45th overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Though he had much better statistical numbers in his second season with the team last 2021-22 by averaging 7.9 points, 3.6 boards, an assist in 40.3 percent shooting for 19.1 minutes (62 games), he wasn’t able to sniff plenty of exposure in the last playoffs.

If given plenty of opportunity, Nwora is an instant bucket-getter, which he already proved during his three-year collegiate run with Louisville.
