Italy veteran Gigi Datome is relishing his chance of playing with Greece superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday.
Both Italy and Greece secured wins on Friday in Milan against Estonia and Croatia, respectively.
“We will try everything, he is a great player and it will be an honor to play against him and to try to make his life difficult,” Datome said regarding Giannis in the mixed zone after Friday’s game with Greek national television.
Antetokounmpo played a huge part in Greece’s win over Croatia, with 27 points and numerous big time plays in the final minutes.
