Less than a year after they got engaged Ben Simmons and his fiancée Maya Jama ended their engagement. Reportedly, the couple attempted keep the relationship but realized it would not work.

“It’s been a difficult time for them,” a source close to the couple told The Post. “While they both care for each other so much, they truly gave it their all and realize that they just come from two different worlds. They now understand they don’t have the time they thought to dedicate to this relationship.”
The 26-year-old Nets point guard is set to return to action this coming season after missing the entire 2021-2022 season.
