Serbian player Nemanja Nedovic says the Eurobasket is going to be a historic event and wants to be part of it, via Eurohoops:
“Yes, perhaps the best Eurobasket in history is waiting for us, certainly the best in the last decade or two. All teams come with very powerful rosters and there are a few favorites that stand out. As for us, we have the necessary experience to balance that ‘hype’ and maintain our focus, which I think is the most important thing at championships. We’ll go from game to game, so we’ll see. It sounds like a cliché, but that’s the way it should be. Our first obstacle is the Netherlands on Friday, after that we will think about each subsequent rival.”
