It was reported that the Jazz will attempt to trade Donovan Mitchell before the start of training camp. The Knicks are thought to be the favorites to land the 25-year-old shooting guard.
But the potential will not be limited to just these two teams. Some people within the NBA think that the Lakers will also be involved as they attempt to improve their team.
“League sources say there’s a decent chance that the Lakers will be involved” in potential Donovan Mitchell deal between New York and Utah Stein wrote on his Substack, via Tommy Beer.
Most recently Los Angeles traded Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson to the Jazz for Patrick Beverley.
