As the 2022-2023 NBA season draws closer, the teams are looking for ways to improve their rosters. For the Lakers arguably the biggest question is the future of Russell Westbrook.

The former NBA MVP with his $47 million contract does not have much value in the market and only a few teams would be willing to make a trade for him.

And even if he gets traded, it is most likely that Westbrook’s new team would buy out his contract, making him a free agent.

According to an anonymous NBA executive, there are three “obvious” teams that could be okay with trading for the 33-year-old point guard.
