As announced by the Hellenic Basketball Federation via Harris Stavrou of SPORT24, recent MRI has shown that Antetokounmpo’s back has no any acute damage. The two-time NBA MVP will continue rehabilitation to complete his healing process.

Giannis was shelved by the Greece national program in its two exhibition games against Georgia and Turkey due to back soreness. But as reported by HoopsHype’s Dionysis Aravantinos, he’ll be available to play on Aug. 25 against fellow superstar Nikola Jokic and Serbia for the World Cup Qualifiers.
