Tyler Herro looking to run things back for a title with Heat next season

Amid murmurs and current stagnancy in his contract situation with the Miami Heat, Tyler Herro would like to be back on the franchise and compete again for a title next season.

“I would run it back,” Herro said on Jake Paul (h/t Fadeaway World’s Nico Martinez). “I think that’s what we’re doing. We brought everyone back and were one game away from the Finals. So, I would run it back.”

The Heat remains in position to contend with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, but questions are still rising on how deep they can still go for next seasons to come – sparking murmurs about trade availability of Herro in order to upgrade for a better roster and contending chances.

Herro has been a consistent part of trade chatter and often being linked in Miami’s aspirations in claiming Donovan Mitchell or Kevin Durant. As such, the 22-year-old already made it clear that he isn’t feeling pressure on his situation out there.

For now, it is safe to say that Herro remains a part of Pat Riley’s desires for the franchise. If he’ll remain with the Heat for next season, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year has to prove that he deserves a new lucrative pay check and recognition as the future of South Beach.
