Derrick Rose is ready to ball again after a rough 2021-2022 season.

As relayed by Fred Katz of The Athletic, Rose is “good to go right now” and the New York Knicks expects him to be available in their September training camp.

Rose had another frustrating campaign last season, suffering from a right ankle injury in December 2021 and was sidelined for over a month to recover from his surgery. Two months have passed, he was then announced unavailable indefinitely after taking another minor procedure on it to address a skin infection.

The former league MVP only appeared in 26 occasions while averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 boards, 3.0 dimes in 44.5 percent field goal shooting.

With the Knicks, Rose had a challenging previous year, but this upcoming season opens up a purpose for them to be optimistic. He’ll back up now the new guard in town Jalen Brunson under the bright lights of New York who is set for a big-time opportunity of stardom under head coach Tom Thibodeau.
