The NBA’s Western Conference has become an absolute bloodbath throughout the years, and Jamal Murray is not minding what other teams are composed of heading to the brand-new hoops year.

“I don’t care. I don’t care what they’ve got. I know we have a great team,” Murray when asked about the contest in their Conference, per Kane Pittman of ESPN. “We have a great team. Everybody knows what we can do, you’ve seen the snippets of what we can do when we’re all healthy together, so we just look forward to that.

“We don’t care what the Suns have and what the Lakers have, we just want to be healthy so we can do what we set out to do.”

Bannered by the Golden State Warriors who just rose from ashes and reclaimed their fourth title in eight years, the West battle land poses a tough challenge amongst its participating clubs. Unpredictability will also swirl, as several contenders have retooled to prepare in what could be a title season.

As such, given the fact that they severely missed Murray’s presence after a long rehabilitation from ACL surgery, the Nuggets stand bold now with fellow title powerhouses. Led by reigning back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic and boosted also by the impending return of Michael Porter Jr., Denver is ready to fight back after two seasons of shortcomings.

Looking at their current rotation and the key addition of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Bruce Brown, Murray has reasons to feel confident about the chances of his squad once all their personnel are available to battle.
