With some important games already marked by basketball fans, the NBA is planning to release the full schedule of the 2022-2023 season this Wednesday (h/t insider Marc Stein). 

Upon the mending of the whole COVID-19 situation, the season calendar is expected to be back in its normal slate. 

Below are the key dates that were identified upon the announcements of various league sources from the previous days:

Sept. 9-10: Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend

Sept. 30, Oct. 2: Warriors, Wizards to play in NBA Japan Games 2022

Oct. 2: Raptors, Jazz to play in NBA Canada Series 2022

Oct. 6, Oct. 8: Bucks, Hawks to play in Abu Dhabi Games 2022

Oct. 15: Raptors, Celtics to play in NBA Canada Series 2022

Oct. 18: 22-23 season opening night: Sixers at Celtics; Lakers at Warriors

Oct. 19: 2022 West Semis rematch: Mavs at Suns

Dec. 25: Christmas Day: Bucks at Celtics; 76ers at Knicks; Suns at Nuggets; Lakers at Mavericks; Grizzlies at Warriors

Jan. 19: Pistons, Bulls to play in NBA Paris Game 2023

Feb. 17-19: NBA All-Star Weekend 2023 in Salt Lake City, Utah
