After two years in Houston, Christian Wood was traded to the Mavericks. It will be his sixth season in the NBA, but so far the 26-year-old center has not played a single playoff game.

Yet, Wood has very high goals for his future – he wants to reach the NBA Finals. Dallas was just one step away from going that far this past season, having lost in the Western Conference Finals against the eventual champions the Warriors.

“It’s a great opportunity for me and for this organization to try and take that next step,” Wood said, via Pete Freedman of wfaa.com. “I just want to win games. My main objective is to try and get to the Finals.”

This past season the undrafted center averaged 17.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 30.8 minutes per game for the Rockets.
