It took some time for Steph Curry to become a superstar in the NBA. According to his father Dell Curry, who was an NBA player himself too, it was his son’s fourth year in the league when he realized that Steph could be an All-Star.
During the 2012-2013 season the point guard crossed the 20-point per game margin for the first time in his career as he averaged 22.9 points per game. In addition, that year Steph dropped 54 points against the Knicks in Maddison Squarer Garden.
“Once he got through the first cycle of injuries, I definitely knew he could be an All-Star,” Dell told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole, via Jarrod Castillo of NBC Sports.
