Gilbert Arenas: Manu Ginobili is not Top 5 Sixth Man of All-Time

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas does not think that Manu Ginobili was a better player than Jamal Crawford. The Argentinean guard won four NBA championships with the Spurs, is a two-time All-Star, despite coming off the bench for the most part of his career.

“It’s hard to convince me that Ginobili was individually better than Jamal Crawford,” Arenas said on fubo Sports. “So we’ll look at the resume and say ‘He got five rings!’ All right, let them play one-on-one, who are you taking?

“‘I’m going to take Jamal.’ So he’s the better player. So that’s how I value it. Manu was amazing in that structure. But when we are talking about individual play, I can’t say as an individual… you take the rings… individual he’s not Top 5 best Sixth Mans of all time… Can Ginobili say he’s better than Lou Williams as a sixth man?”
