Kyrie Irving is eyeing to suit up in Brooklyn next season even without his All-star partner.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported in the Pat McAfee Show that Irving “has made his full intent” to play as a Net this 2022-2023 season without Kevin Durant.

As such, should Durant get traded, the club will pivot its interest on shipping Irving away, with a price tag of a first round pick or multiple selections.

Currently, both Irving and Durant are dealing on their respective standoff with Joe Tsai and the Nets franchise.

Irving, who opted in his $37 million player option this summer, is consistently being linked with the Los Angeles Lakers. Meanwhile, Durant remains being shopped in the open market, as the Boston Celtics were recently reported as a likely landing spot for the future hall of famer.
