This past season Malik Monk played for the Lakers and had a chance to see first hand how the team’s Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook worked together.
The 24-year-old shooting guard had a breakout year and left Los Angeles for Sacramento this summer. He was asked about recent news that the Lakers Big 3 had a phone conversation during which they committed to making it work next season.
According to Monk, this conversation shows that the three superstars will be able to operate successfully next season. “They grown men,” Monk said, per TMZ. “Especially when they have convos like that, it’ll work out for them. They all great.”
