Rumors: Jazz receiving a lot of calls about Jarred Vanderbilt

With the Utah Jazz potentially pivoting towards big time reconstruction, several rival teams are now expressing interest in one of their newly acquired players.

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer provided that many clubs around the league have called the Jazz about the availability of Jarred Vanderbilt in the market.

Vanderbilt, 23, arrived in Salt Lake City as part of the recent blockbuster trade that sent Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“A lot of teams have called on Jarred Vanderbilt,” Fischer said (via HoopsHype). “I don’t know the number. I don’t really have any specific teams that I’ve heard of. But last I talked to Utah that he was the guy who’s getting the most calls, the most incoming calls of all the players.”

With a lengthy frame, Vanderbilt stands as one of the most versatile big men at a young age. His defensive prowess is gaining much praise, but his offensive arsenal is yet to be tapped and developed.

Last regular season with Minny, the Kentucky product went off with an average of 6.9 markers, 8.4 boards, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks.
