Blazers’ Shaedon Sharpe not requiring surgery to address left shoulder woes

Upon close medical evaluations, Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe won’t need surgery to fix a small labral tear in his left shoulder, the team announced on Wednesday.

Sharpe succumbed from the said injury in Portland’s first NBA 2K23 Summer League game against the Detroit Pistons earlier this month. He was then ruled out by the club for the remainder of the tournament.

He is expected to make full recovery and be activated again for the training camp.

Sharpe, the seventh overall pick of the recent NBA Draft, earlier joined the Kentucky program in his collegiate stint, but he didn’t play to represent the Wildcat flag.
