Matt Barnes believes the NBA media space is getting rewarded for being ‘messy’ right now.

(Via SHOWTIME Basketball):

“A lot of people are saying stuff on TV or on the social media space that would never say it to a man’s face. I just think it’s messy right now, and messy is being rewarded. That’s why it’s important for more players to come in and hold it down and let people know like, ‘You don’t talk about s*** like that.’ Or, ‘You don’t disrespect people like this.’

Like Nick Wright. Nick Wright talks out of his a** all the time. If he ever would’ve said something about me while I played, I would’ve slapped the s*** out of him. And that’s just being real. I hate guys like that who just throw crazy bombs out there, and then when they’re completely wrong, there’s no repercussions for it. So it’s just like the lines have been erased. At some point, I just have a feeling someone’s gonna get some hands put on them.”
