The number two pick of this year’s NBA Draft, Chet Holmgren, made his Summer League debut for the Thunder. The 20-year-old forward dropped 23 points led Oklahoma City to a win over Utah with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 4 assists.
For his debut Holmgren wore jersey with number seven on it and wore KD 15 shoes. Kevin Durant, who used to play for the Thunder and who is wearing number seven at Brooklyn, reacted to the rookie’s performance.
“I see u cookin 7. First day on the job was a success, love the kicks @ChetHolmgren,” Durant, who has reportedly requested a trade from the Nets, tweeted.
