T.J. Warren will go to the Brooklyn Nets upon agreeing on a one-year deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has reported.

Warren, 28, hasn’t played yet since 2021 due to his stress fracture injuries. His recovery even covered the whole course of the 2021-2022 season.

In three seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Warren only suited up for 71 regular season games and found some of the best basketball performances in his career — notably within the NBA bubble. With his contract already expired, he’ll join an embattled Nets team that may help him raise his value upon the two-year layoff he had.

Warren initially played for five years on the Phoenix Suns before going to Indiana. He has a career average of 15.5 points, 4.1 boards, 1.2 assists and 50.7 percent shooting from the field.
