The Miami Heat are interested in signing Mo Bamba, with the Orlando Magic expected to allow the player to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. That is according to Hoopshype, who names the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, and Minnesota Timberwolves as other interested teams.

The Heat are keen on retooling for another attempt at winning a fourth championship but might find it difficult to sign the center as he should command $7.8 million to $12.2 million a year, per The Athletic’s ProFitX model. Bamba averaged 10.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game last season, shooting 48 percent from the floor and 38.1 percent from three.

He seems the sort of player who would fit well alongside Bam Adebayo yet the Heat might end up being priced out.
