Jalen Brunson expected to receive four-year, $110 million bag proposal from Knicks: report

The New York Knicks are going all in to finally claim the free agent rights of Jalen Brunson.

As relayed by Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, the team is expected to offer a four-year, $110 million contract on Brunson once the league’s free agency gate opens in the next few days.

To make it possible, the Knicks recently pulled off a trade to clear their cap space, shipping a Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks package to the Detroit Pistons.

By far, from various sources, the Knicks are gaining momentum as frontrunners on the Brunson sweepstakes.

The combo guard is coming off a breakout campaign with the Dallas Mavericks, tallying 16.3 points and 4.8 assists in the regular season while helping them to appear in their first Conference Finals berth since 2011.
