WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner, 31, was arrested at Moscow airport on February 18 for allegedly bringing vape cartridges containing hash oil – which is illegal in Russia – into the country.

According to The Associated Press, at Monday’s closed-door preliminary hearing at the court in the Moscow suburb of Khimki, Griner’s detention was extended for another six months.

Griner could face 10 years in prison if convicted on charges of large-scale transportation of drugs.
