Enes Kanter Freedom: “Adam Silver is the biggest hypocrite of them all”

Prominent China’s slave labor critic Enes Kanter Freedom opened up to OutKick about various topics, including the price he paid for exposing the hypocrisy of the NBA.

Bobby Burack: If you had known that speaking out would have cost you your NBA career, would you have still done it?

Enes Kanter Freedom: I would do this every time. No question.

Why? While they are playing basketball right now, there is a genocide happening on the other side of the ocean. There are three to four million people in concentration camps who are tortured every day. And Uyghurs are not the only ones – you see what’s happening in places like Hong Kong, Tibet, Taiwan and Mongolians.

So this is bigger than my next paycheck. Of course, I would do it all over again.

Let me ask you this, Bobby: would the NBA and these companies stand with Taiwan if China invades like they have Ukraine?

Bobby Burack: No way.

Enes Kanter Freedom: Right, no way. Adam Silver is the biggest hypocrite of them all. The NBA is not genuine.

Enes Kanter Freedom – an outspoken human rights activist – was traded by the Boston Celtics to Houston Rockets at the trading deadline. The Rockets waived him on Feb. 14.

The free-agent NBA big man has played 11 seasons for 5 teams, including the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz. He has averaged 11.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in 748 regular-season games.
