Going into Game 6 of the NBA Finals, the Celtics are in a familiar territory in terms of being 2-3 down in the series. Boston were in the same position in the second round of the playoffs against the Bucks.

Marcus Smart recalled how his team reacted to losing Game 5 of the series against Milwaukee, saying that everybody supported each other. This helped the Celtics rally in Game 6 and eventually win Game 7 to advance to the next round.

Via Zach Lowe of ESPN:

“Everyone looked at each other and kind of gave each other a tap on the back and it was over,” Smart says. “Onto the next one. We all knew. Just stay together. Stay together. We had each other’s back. We knew Game 6 for us, there was gonna be hell to pay. And there was.”
