The Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls are keeping an eye on European talent Vasilije Micic for next season.

Per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, both the Bucks and the Bulls have their interests in the former EuroLeague MVP for a possible trade with the Denver Nuggets.

Vasilije’s rights were dealt by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Nuggets as part of the recent JaMychal Green trade.

“Some rival executives were prepared for Morris to be replaced by Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic, whose rights are held by OKC, as part of the Green trade. Micic, 28, led Turkish club Anadolu Efes to the 2020-21 EuroLeague title while winning the EuroLeague MVP and has garnered trade interest from several playoff teams, such as Milwaukee and Chicago, sources said.”

The 28-year-old Serbian guard was chosen in the 2015 Draft as the 52nd overall selection from the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2020, his playing rights were given to Thunder as an attachment to the Al Horford trade.

The reigning EuroLeague Finals MVP has been considered a prospect outside of the league with his elite playmaking and offensive wits.
