Even Draymond Green’s mother was confused as to why her son played unlike himself in this year’s NBA Finals. The Warriors forward himself used an expletive to describe his performance after Game 3.
But he was able to bounce back in Game 5 which was won by Golden State. Green scored 8 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 6 rebounds. After the game he said that he felt more like himself in this game.
“I felt more like myself just aggressive on both sides of the ball,” the three-time NBA champion said. “I thought I felt a little more like myself in Game 4 as well after an atrocious Game 3.
“You just got to continue to build and I think tonight’s a great start. Now looking forward into Game 6 with the same energy and effort.
