Report: Bucks to appoint Charles Lee as associate HC

The Milwaukee Bucks are appointing Charles Lee to become their associate head coach (h/t Shams Charania of The Athletic). The club is said to be leaning towards offering a new deal for Lee.

In light of the departure of Darvin Ham to take the coaching keys of the Los Angeles Lakers, Lee is set to become the newest right-hand man of his mentor, Mike Budenholzer, in the Bucks sidelines starting next season.

Lee, 37, has been hailed as one of the most promising basketball minds in the league. He was reportedly a head coaching candidate for the teams like Lakers and Charlotte Hornets from the previous weeks. But as both teams have found their respective bench boss, the Utah Jazz this time have expressed an interest in acquiring him.

Lee had a four-year professional stint before hitting the drawing board.
