Stephen Curry is optimistic on his condition in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals.

He declared on Thursday that he is good to go and will suit up for the pivotal match against the Boston Celtics.

I’m going to play,” Curry said in his media availability. “That’s all I know right now.”

Curry was mincing in pain late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 after a tight loose ball contest and a dive from Al Horford. He was shelved by Steve Kerr with two minutes remaining, as the Celtics were nearing to staple the series lead.

Per GS camp, the future hall of famer evaded a serious injury and won’t need an MRI. But Curry admitted that he had a bit of a moment that was similar from the injury he sustained against Marcus Smart last regular season.

“Because I went through what I went through in the regular season and coming back, I know exactly what it is and what I’ve got to deal with and the soreness, pain level and all that,” Curry said. “So once I got checked out last night, I knew I wouldn’t have to go get any extra tests just because we’ve been through this before.”

Down 2-1, both Curry and Golden State will look to bounce back on Friday to tie the series heading back in San Francisco.
