Report: Rudy Gobert more likely to be moved after stepping down of Quin Snyder

The stepping down of Quin Snyder as the head coach of the Jazz could impact the team’s future as far its stars are concerned.

Utah is reportedly not interested in moving Donovan Mitchell who is drawing interest from multiple teams, most notably the Knicks.

However, the Jazz might be more open in trading three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert. He is under contract until 2026 with the last year being player option.

The French center, who has played under Snyder for almost his entire NBA career, sent a heartfelt tweet to his former coach after finding out he is leaving Utah.

“Forever grateful for Quin. Gave me a chance 8 years ago and believed in me when not a lot of people did. And helped our team grow into a Western conference powerhouse through all the ups and downs. Wishing you nothing but the best in your next chapter!” Gobert tweeted.
