Jeremy Lin: Steph Curry does NOT need a Finals MVP to validate his career by any means

After the Warriors made it to this year’s NBA Finals, conversations started about Steph Curry’s career and where he ranks among the league’s best players.

It his sixth Finals for the three-time NBA champion. Some say that he needs to win another ring and alos win Finals MVP to earn a place among the greats.

Jeremy Lin, who was teammates with Curry during his rookie year in the league, does not agree with such views.

“I hope Steph Curry wins the championship and finals MVP. But make no mistake about it, he does NOT need a finals MVP to validate his career by any means,” Lin tweeted.

Curry opened the series against the Celtics by scoring 34 points. However, it was not enough as Boston won the game 120-108.
